The Lethargy of ‘Dailiness’

When we commit to doing something daily, a thousand forces, small or big come and stop us.

A few of them come from outside, very few. Over commitments to others leading to trouble finding time for our own growth being one such.

Most of them however arise from within. And the spectrum is vast.

Reasons may vary from lethargy, laziness, last moment headaches, not knowing what to do today due to inefficient planning and a thousand other reasons we give to ourselves as excuses for not keeping our commitments.

It’s hard to keep a daily habit. And yet it must be done if any real growth is to be seen in any of our endeavors.

There is definitely lethargy in ‘dailiness’. At the same time there is a power in doing anything every day. Both go hand in hand.
