How many times have you heard this clichéd term called New Year Resolutions?
We all make a bunch of New Year’s Resolutions every year on 1st of January only to leave them by the 10th! (By the way congratulations if you succeeded to take it that far. I used to leave by 5th only!)
Instead, there’s a simple yet powerful method which is much more effective than resolutions. Plus this method is easy. All you need to do is to take a pen and paper, sit down for 10 minutes and prepare a list of 20 Things to do in 2016.
20 Things to do in 2016
These can be related to anything.
- Yoga & Meditation
- Reading books
- Writing books
- Watching movies/documentaries
- Buying stuff
- Learning a musical instrument/dance form
- Any other random thing under the world that you want to do which you feel will give you a ‘high’ feeling
If you think it’s extending to 25, go ahead, I won’t blame you. There’s so much to do after all!
After making this list, make sure you review it once every month, preferably on the last day of the month to track your progress.
With regular reviewing, I’m sure by December 2016 you’d easily end up doing 60-80% of these. Won’t that be yet another awesome ‘high’ feeling?!
